A Weekend Getaway | The Big Tiny Home in Wintergreen, Virginia

Travel

After sharing images on Instagram of our weekend home a couple of weeks ago, I got so many responses asking where this place was so I figured it was appropriate to share more information about this spot along with some more photos of it!

At the end of February, we went on weekend getaway to an area that we have been to many times. However, this time, we stayed a new place…a BIG tiny home!

Wintergreen, Virginia is full of awesome restaurants, breweries and of course the slopes at Wintergreen, which we spent our Sunday on. Dan and I have stayed at a few Airb&bs and the area is so quiet and the perfect amount of seclusion for a nice weekend away.

I have to give Dan the credit on this one as he found it on Airb&b! This Big Tiny Home cozily sleeps three with one full bed and a loft. It also has a living space, an electric fireplace, a kitchen, a full bathroom and a fire pit with some chairs outside. This home is 300 square feet but really is the perfect kind of cozy for three friends! The host also rents out a Tiny House that is on the same property as the Big Tiny House as well as Boogie Nights Manor, an entire house that sleeps 12.

You can find the links below to all three of these spots on Airb&b, our favorite restaurants, as well as some photos from the weekend! Enjoy friends and let me know if you have any questions!

BIG TINY HOUSE (sleeps 3, where we stayed)

TINY HOUSE (Rusty’s Retreat, sleeps 2)

BOOGIE NIGHTS MANOR (sleeps 12)

Our favorite restaurants, breweries and spots include:

Wildwolf Brewery

Devil’s Backbone

Blue Mountain Brewery

Silverback Distillery (our first time here!)

Bold Rock Cidery
